Terms of Service

By creating an account or using gurusan.observer (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

The Service is operated by GuruSan LLC, an Alaska limited liability company ([TBD: business address]).

You must be at least 18 to use the Service. By using GuruSan you represent that you meet this requirement.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use at support@gurusan.observer.

GuruSan is a self-reflection and personal-development tool. It generates an assessment across seven dimensions using an AI model and a framework drawn from contemplative traditions.

It is not medical, psychological, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice, and it is not a validated clinical or psychometric instrument. Results are interpretive and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Our Wellness Disclaimer is incorporated into these Terms.

The Service offers one-time purchases ([TBD: confirm current price range]) that unlock specific content. Payments are processed by Creem(our Merchant of Record); we don't store your full card details. Prices and offerings may change, but changes won't affect purchases already made.

Current products: Dimensional Plan, Comparative Read, Full Assessment + Advice, Founders Circle.

Unlocked content is delivered to you immediately, so purchases are generally non-refundable once the content has been accessed, except where a refund is required by law. The Founders Circle is limited to 44 members and includes all content tiers, founding-member status, and a one-time facilitated reading of your assessment with a trained facilitator. That session is interpretive facilitation — it is not therapy, counseling, coaching, or clinical care. Spots are first-come; if capacity is reached, no further purchases are accepted.

The GuruSan framework, dimensions, questions, scoring approach, text, and design are owned by GuruSan LLC and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, resell, scrape, or create derivative products from them.

You keep ownership of the answers you submit. You grant us the license needed to process them to generate and store your assessment, as described in the Privacy Policy (including processing by our AI provider, Anthropic).

Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to reverse-engineer the scoring, automated scraping, reselling access, interfering with security, or unlawful use.

The Service relies on third parties including Creem and Google. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or that results are correct or beneficial. See the Wellness Disclaimer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuruSan LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to [TBD: the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim — confirm with attorney]. You agree to indemnify GuruSan LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard, which removes your associated data (see Privacy Policy §7).

We may update these Terms; material changes are reflected in the effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the updated Terms.
